No landscape is complete without some form of a waterfeature.  Big or small, a waterfeature adds another dimension to your landscape.  They have many benefits aside from their beauty and sound, such as encouraging birds and beneficial insects to your garden.  If built and designed well, they are definately less maintenance than a lawn.

Consider adding a pondless waterfall and stream such as the one being built in these images.
